Lily T. ★★★★★

Pulled it out of the oven after about 20 minutes and the top was perfectly golden with that rich, bubbly edge. The wholegrain mustard gives it just enough bite to cut through the creamy cheddar, and it's dangerously easy to finish the whole 150g with a baguette.

Grace ★★★★★

Baked it for 20 minutes until the top bubbled and browned, and the ale gives it a deep, malty richness that pairs perfectly with crusty bread. The wholegrain mustard adds just enough bite to keep it from feeling heavy. Definitely my new go-to for a cozy night in.

The wholegrain mustard really cuts through the richness of the cheddar and ale, so it doesn't feel heavy at all. I baked mine for a quick weeknight dinner and the top got that lovely golden, slightly crispy crust while the middle stayed velvety. Gone in one sitting.
