The wholegrain mustard really cuts through the richness of the cheddar and ale, and it stays velvety smooth even after twenty minutes out of the oven. Served it bubbling hot with crusty bread and it vanished in about ten minutes flat.
I was skeptical about baking a dip at home but this turned out dangerously good. The ale and wholegrain mustard blend with that sharp Cheddar into the smoothest, richest texture I've had from a box. Gone in one sitting with crusty bread.
