Las viñas orientadas al sur de Château Macquin, situadas en una denominación satélite de Saint-Émilion en Burdeos, producen un ensamblaje de color rojo rubí compuesto por un 80% de Merlot y un 20% de Cabernet Sauvignon, con un intenso aroma a cereza negra y especias.
