Onze Fig & Appelchutney is een rijke en sappige begeleider, gemaakt met zijdezachte stukjes Bramley-appel. Dit aanbod van 114g is een veelzijdige toevoeging aan elke kaasplank of koude vleesschotel.
The Bramley apple chunks are silky like the description says, and the fig sweetness balances the tang perfectly. I dolloped it on a cold pork pie and then finished the jar with sharp cheddar over three days. It’s a small 114g jar, but that’s enough for a few good platters.
The texture of this chutney is spot on for a cheese board—those Bramley apple chunks hold their shape but melt slightly on the tongue, and the fig sweetness cuts through a sharp cheddar beautifully. It's gone way faster than I expected from a 114g jar, so I'll be ordering two next time.
I spread it over some sharp cheddar last night and the silky apple chunks cut through the richness perfectly. The 114g jar is just right for a weekend cheese board, and it’s gone quicker than I’d like.
