The four truckles meant everyone could grab a slice without hovering awkwardly over one cake, and the Red Leicester was the first to vanish. Guests kept asking where I'd found it, so I just smiled.
It was the centrepiece of our party table, and the tower really did stop people mid-conversation. We worked our way through the four truckles and the Red Leicester was gone before the cake even got cut.
The Cheddar and Red Leicester combo is a proper showstopper—the tower looked incredible on the table and the truckles sliced beautifully for sharing. Everyone kept going back for more, and it held its shape right until the last piece was gone.
