Opened this last night with roast chicken and it was everything I hoped—that Cote de Beaune minerality really comes through, with soft red fruit on the finish. For the price, it drinks like a much pricier Burgundy. Already thinking about grabbing another bottle for the holidays.
The fifth-generation story drew me in, but the wine itself sealed the deal—this Burgundy is exactly what I hoped for from the Cote de Beaune. Smooth, layered, and it paired beautifully with roast chicken. I’m already planning to order another bottle before it sells out.
This is my third Burgundy from this region and the fifth-generation pedigree really shows—the Cote de Beaune terroir comes through with such a clean, mineral finish. It’s already drinking beautifully now, but I’m curious to see how it evolves over the next year or two.
