ボルドーのサン＝テミリオン衛星AOCに位置するシャトー・マッカンの南向きのブドウ畑で造られる、ルビーレッドのブレンドワイン。80%メルロー、20%カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンを使用し、ブラックチェリーとスパイスの力強いアロマが特徴。口に含むと、甘い赤い果実、タバコ、石墨のニュアンスが広がり、長くシルキーな余韻が続きます。濃厚でクリーミーなブラックボンバー・エクストラ・メイチャードチェダーをはじめ、フルボディのハードチーズとの相性は抜群です。
Opened this after Sunday's roast and the south-facing sun really comes through in the glass, that intense black-fruit nose is no joke. It's a proper Saint-Émilion satellite with plenty of Merlot richness, but the Cabernet keeps it lively. Already went back for a second pour.
That 80/20 Merlot-Cabernet ratio really shows in the glass — the black fruit nose carries straight through to a smooth, velvety finish that stayed with me long after the last sip. Perfect for a quiet evening when you want something serious but not heavy.
